The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has suspended the head coach of the Serbian national team, Radomir Antic, for four matches. The coach has also been fined 14,000 Swiss francs.

Such a punishment was imposed on the specialist for criticising referee Jorge Larriondo during the group stage match against Australia, when the referee, according to Antic, did not award an obvious penalty kick to the opponents' goal.

However, the Serbian Football Federation stated in a released statement that they are preparing to appeal against the FIFA decision in the near future.
