FIFA will test radical innovations in football © JumpStory

FIFA intends to test extremely radical innovations in football. "Mundo Deportivo" wrote that the PSV, "AZ Alkmaar", "RB Leipzig", and "Brugge" U-19 teams will participate in an experiment, during which unseen things will be tested on the pitch. It is reported that up to five very significant changes to football rules are being prepared: - one half will last 30 minutes; - the match clock will stop when the ball leaves the pitch; - teams will be able to make an unlimited number of substitutions; - throw-ins will no longer be done by hand (the ball will be kicked in); - a player receiving a yellow card will be suspended for five minutes. In April, the desire to shorten matches was also mentioned by the organizer of the Super League and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. However, at least for now, these ideas have not received much support among fans - only intentions to shorten the match time and stop the clock during the game are worth paying attention to.
