On this Saturday, the European Women's Football Championship Group A matches ended, after which two teams that reached the semifinals were revealed.

The English team, playing in front of their fans, did not succeed and lost for the second time in a row, failing to reach the semifinals, with almost 26 thousand spectators watching their match. This time, the English had to admit the advantage of the Swedes, who were considered favorites and led from the very beginning of the game.

A somewhat unexpected victory was achieved by the Finns, who made their debut in the European Championship final tournament, defeating the Danish team in a tense battle. In the tournament table, both teams collected 4 points each and had an equal goal difference, so the Finns progressed to the next stage by winning the head-to-head match.
