The Finland national team continues to keep their chances of qualifying for the World Cup tournament for the first time in the country's football history. Finland defeated the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team 3:1 on Saturday afternoon. Teemu Pukki had a chance to put Finland ahead in the 25th minute from the penalty spot, but he did not convert. However, just 4 minutes later, Marcus Forss scored a goal after a successful pass from the Norwich City forward. In the 37th minute, Finland's defender Jukka Raitala received a red card, but that did not prevent the Scandinavian team from getting the job done in the second half. In the second half, Finland scored goals through Daniel O'Shaughnessy and Robin Lod, securing the victory. After this victory, Finland surpassed Ukraine in Group D standings. Both teams have one match remaining - Finland will host France at home, while Ukraine will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
