The team's striker informed Francesco Totti that he does not intend to move to another club next season.
The captain of the team from the Italian capital, F. Totti, stated yesterday that he would like F. Inzaghi to wear Roma's team jersey next year, thus strengthening the team's attacking line.
Although the striker playing for Milan accepted this invitation as a compliment, the player emphasized his dedication to the current club.
"It was nice to hear his words, but I will stay at Milan even if a player like F. Totti invites me to the capital club," said F. Inzaghi.
Both of these players will compete in the Italian national team at the upcoming World Cup in Germany, and F. Inzaghi expressed his joy of playing in the national team.
"It is a dream come true for me. At the beginning of the season, I certainly did not expect such success. I just hoped to finally recover from all injuries and slowly return to the squad to help Milan score goals, but I achieved even more – I was invited to the national team," the Italian shared his joy.
The player also warmly commented on the new club acquisition - defender Giuseppe Favalli, who transferred from Inter to the team.
"I am very happy that he joined the club. I know him well and I know that he is a very good player and a great person. I always welcome such people to the club with open arms," Inzaghi did not spare praise for his new teammate.
