The 33rd round of the Italian championship started with two impressive matches. In the earlier match in Bergamo, "Atalanta" had to work hard against the players of "Bologna". Indeed, everything started perfectly for Gian Piero Gasperini's pupils - Andrea Conti sent the ball into the net in the third minute, and Remo Freuler doubled the lead in the 14th minute. Then the guests woke up, with Mattia Destro scoring for them just a few moments later. Federico Di Francesco, who provided the assist, later managed to equalize after a longer silence. In the end, "Atalanta" was saved by a corner kick lifted by Alejandro Gomez, after which Bryan Cristante dropped the ball with his head to defender Mattia Caldara, who scored the winning goal and secured three points for his team. Thanks to that, "Atalanta" temporarily overtook Roma's "Lazio" and moved up to the fourth place. An even more impressive battle took place between Florence's "Fiorentina" and Milan's "Inter" clubs. The first goal was scored in the middle of the first half, with Matias Vecino as the author. However, "Viola" did not enjoy their lead for long - Ivan Perisic equalized in the 29th minute, and a few minutes later, the "Nerazzurri" captain Mauro Icardi turned the score in their favor. After the break, the hosts shined with new colors, and Federico Bernardeschi had the opportunity to take a penalty at the start of the second half. Fortunately for the opponents, the shot was saved by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, but their joy did not last long. The score once again became equal when Davide Astori scored with his head after a corner, and a minute later Vecino scored his second goal with a shot from outside the box. Not only that, "Viola" extended their lead even further in the 70th minute when Khouma Babacar scored. In the 79th minute, the same Babacar started causing trouble for the "Inter" players, but they did not give up easily. As the match was ending, Mauro Icardi managed to score two more precise goals, completing a hat-trick and bringing his team one step closer to a draw. However, they couldn't score the tenth goal as the time ran out. After a win, "Fiorentina" is just one point behind their opponents in the league table.
