Better late than never.
Following this proverb, the leaders of "Fiorentina" announced that they are including the legendary striker Gabriel Batistuta in the club's Hall of Fame.
The foreign press notes that the "violet" team remembered the Argentine after 14 years since his last match in Florence and 9 years since the end of his playing career.
During the tribute, G. Batistuta struggled to hold back tears and was happy to finally receive recognition.
In the "Fiorentina" team, the striker played 332 matches and scored 207 goals.
After leaving Florence, the striker also defended the honor of the "Roma," "Inter," and "Al Arabi" clubs.
