Next month, crisis-hit Serie A side will have to continue their fight for survival without young Bulgarian striker Valeri Bojinov.
The 19-year-old player scored his first goal for his new team last weekend, but at the same time, he pulled a muscle and will not be able to help the team for at least a month.
Bojinov moved to Fiorentina in January for 13 million euros, but so far he has struggled to fit in with his new team and has not shown the stellar performance that attracted clubs like London before.
In his second match with the Florence team, the Bulgarian striker was even sent off the field and had to miss one game. On Saturday, he returned to the field for only 22 minutes and will now not be able to play again.
