At 18:00 in the English Premier League, the penultimate match of the 2nd round took place.
Brighton hosted Manchester United at home. After a difficult victory in the first round, the "Red Devils" could not save themselves this time - Brighton defeated their opponents with a score of 3:2.

Nevertheless, this did not wake up the Man Utd team and in the 44th minute, Brighton regained their two-goal advantage. Eric Bailly unlawfully stopped his opponent in the penalty area, and Pascal Gross successfully converted the penalty kick.
In the second half, Jose Mourinho brought on his brightest English stars, but they did not bring a quick result.
In the final moments of the match, United earned a penalty kick and Paul Pogba successfully converted it, but there were only a few seconds left to play and Brighton triumphed with a score of 3:2.
For the Brighton team, these were their first points, while United suffered their first loss.
