Now, the 36-year-old goalkeeper has already scored 177 goals in 582 matches, surpassing Frenchman Thierry Henry by one goal who dropped to fifth place.
Most of his 147 goals were scored during the 13 years spent at London's "Chelsea" club. He scored 24 goals in the first years of his career at the "West Ham United" club, one while representing "Swansea City", and the last five while playing for "Manchester City".
Lampard's career best result was 22 goals scored during the 2009-2010 season while playing for the "Chelsea" team. In those years, the "Blues" won the Premier League title, and Lampard, with 17 assists, was the top player in the championship according to this indicator.
The most goals in English football championships were scored by Alan Shearer (260), Andrew Cole (189), and Wayne Rooney (181 goals).
