Florent Malouda, the goalkeeper of the French national team and club, is convinced that France can improve their game if the team changes their playing style in the match against Spain.

"Les Bleus" (the nickname of the French national team) advanced to the next stage of the World Cup competition by beating Togo in a crucial match and finishing in 2nd place in the group.

The 1998 World and 2000 European champions will face Spain in the round of 16, who finished 1st in Group H without losing a single match.

27-year-old goalkeeper F.Malouda, who missed the first match against the Swiss team for unknown reasons, believes that France can play much better.

He is optimistic that coach Raymond Domenech's team will show their best possible game in the match against Spain and advance to the quarterfinals.

"I am pleased that the team managed to break through the group stage barrier and advance to the next stage of the competition. It is very exciting to be there," said F.Malouda. - "Now we feel much better and we know that we can perform just as well. We hope to forget about the group stage and look forward to the future, to the quarterfinals."

"We need to change our playing style before the match against Spain. We have already discussed it with the team," added F.Malouda. - "Spain started the tournament very impressively and we will try to stop that great game. I hope we will cope with this difficult task."
