One of the central matches of the "Serie A" tour allowed football fans to witness a true football spectacle - at the Rome Olympic Stadium, "Juventus" defeated the "AS Roma" team 4:3. The Romans started the match quite well - already in the 11th minute Tammy Abraham scored a goal, helping his team to take the lead. However, shortly after, in the 18th minute, Paulo Dybala equalized with a great shot.
In the second half, there was a real show. Henrikh Mkhitaryan put "AS Roma" ahead after a ricochet, and later Lorenzo Pellegrini doubled Roma's lead by fantastically converting a penalty kick. After these goals, the "Juventus" team seemed a bit discouraged, but managed to even win the match, scoring three goals in 7 minutes. Firstly, Manuel Locatelli converted a cross with a header, and two minutes later Dejan Kulusevski equalized.
The victory for "the old lady" was extended in the 77th minute by defender Mattia de Sciglio, who scored his second goal in his career. However, that was not the end of this match, as "Roma" still had a great chance to equalize. Matthijs de Ligt handled the ball in the penalty area, received a second yellow card, and a penalty kick was awarded to "Juventus". Lorenzo Pellegrini stood at the penalty spot, but his shot was saved by Wojciech Szczesny. Later, "Roma" failed to properly threaten the visitors' goal, despite having a one-player advantage for the last fifteen minutes.
After this victory, "Juventus" moved closer to the top four, while "Roma" dropped to eighth place in the league table.
