Football tournament in Ringaudai – a meeting of different generations on the football field

On November 20th, a football tournament took place at the multifunctional sports field of the Ringaudai community, aimed at winning the trophy and prizes established by the Ringaudai mayor. In the football tournament, teams from Ringaudai, Miriniškiai, and Gervėnupis competed, including both children and adults.

“I am glad that our small town has no shortage of sports events at the multifunctional sports field established by the Ringaudai community. Our community is active in sports, so it is always nice to see both children and adults engaging in sports,” said Rūta Slivinskienė, the mayor of Ringaudai.

After the tournament, it was revealed that the first place was claimed by the Ringaudai first team, the second place was taken by representatives of Miriniškiai, and the third place prizes went to the Ringaudai second team.

The most effective player was Vincentas Jonaitis, the best player was Herkus Armonas, and the best goalkeeper was Lukas Stankaitis.

The tournament participants were awarded trophies, medals, and personal prizes by Rūta Slivinskienė, the mayor of the Ringaudai municipality.

“We have an active mayor in the Kaunas district, who captivates everyone with her positivity and sincerity. Her activity is a great example of how everyone can be united and drawn into joint activities in a small town. Football captivates with its simplicity, which is why both children and adults always play in our community,” shared Martynas Karpavičius, the event organizer.
