The upcoming season of Madrid's "Real" will be unrecognizable - although the core of the team remains, the brightest star Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to start a new chapter in his career without the "white" team.
Three-time UEFA Champions League winners have decided this summer to accept the offer from Turin's "Juventus" and sell the Portuguese for 100 million euros.
C. Ronaldo not only won team trophies at "Real" but also became a "Ballon d'Or" winner four times during the same period.
The departure of the Portuguese means that for the first time in 18 years, "Real" will not have a single player in their team who has won the "golden ball".
Since 2000, the "white team" had golden boys among them - the first was Luis Figo, later joined by Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Michael Owen, Fabio Cannavaro, and Kaka, who moved to Madrid in 2009 along with C. Ronaldo.
