Formed "Barcelona" coaching staff

Changes promised by the leaders of "Barcelona" at the end of last season did not bypass the team's coaching staff.

Replacing Argentine Gerardo Martino, who stepped down from his strategist duties, 44-year-old Luis Enrique invited his selected assistants to work together.

On Monday, 11 main squad and 13 youth academy footballers arrived at the club's sports base to be checked by doctors and start training, led by Luis Enrique and his new coaching staff for the first time.

The second assistant and right-hand man Juan Carlos Unzue is serving his third "term" with the team. During his professional football career, the Spaniard himself defended "Barcelona's" goal and played 36 official matches with the team. From 2003 to 2010, J. C. Unzue served as the main team's goalkeeper coach. In the 2010-2011 season, he became the head coach of "Numancia", but returned to "Barcelona" after the season to coach the goalkeepers. Last season, he assisted Luis Enrique when he was in charge of the Vigo "Celta" team.

Assistant Roberto Moreno will work with Luis Enrique in the fourth team. This specialist assisted the Spaniard when he took over as head coach in the "Barcelona B" youth team and also worked together at "Roma" and Vigo "Celta" clubs.

Assistant Joanas Barbara Mini Estadi stadium joins Camp Nou. The former "Sabadell" and "Salamanca" footballer worked with Luis Enrique from 2008 to 2011 in the "Barcelona B" team, and recently assisted the current "Barcos B" strategist Eusebio Sacristan.

Fitness coach Rafelis Polis worked with "Roma" and Vigo "Celta" teams alongside Luis Enrique, so the new "Barcos" strategist invited him to the Catalan capital.

Psychologist Joaquinas Valdes, like R. Moreno, has worked with the current "Barcelona" head coach since 2008.

Goalkeeper coach Jose Ramonas de la Fuente will work in "Barcoje" for the third consecutive season. Tito Vilanova invited the former "Barcelona B" goalkeeper coach to the main team. After the season, J. R. de la Fuente assisted Gerardo Martino, and now remains to work with Luis Enrique.
