Former London Arsenal defender Freddie Ljungberg has decided to play football again. The Swede will try his luck in India.
The 37-year-old defender had already announced his retirement, but will play in the Indian Super League for three months.
He informed his fans on his Twitter account: "Even though I have retired, the opportunity to play in India really interests me. For three months, I will help promote football in this country."
Ljungberg ended his career in 2012 and will now join former Liverpool duo David James and Luis Garcia, who have also agreed to play in India.
Together with London Arsenal, F. Ljungberg has won two trophies in the past and was a part of the "invincibles" team, which did not lose a match in England for 49 consecutive games.
