Chile's national team found a new coach.
The helm of the South American team was taken over from Jorge Sampaoli by Juan Antonio Pizzi.
The 47-year-old Argentine, a former famous football player who played for "Barcelona" for a couple of years, signed a contract with the "Copa America" champions until the end of the 2018 World Cup.
Pizzi has coaching experience in teams such as "Valencia", "Leon", and "San Lorenzo".
Federation president Arturo Salah said:
"We are very pleased to have reached an agreement with Juan Antonio, he is an excellent professional who will instill a lot of confidence in the team. He became a champion in both Chile and Argentina, and also had good performances in Europe."
