Former NBA star Canadian Steve Nash could become a soccer player. S.Nash, who announced the end of his basketball career in March, has been training with the "New York Cosmos" soccer team for a week and is expected to become a member of the team this weekend.
S.Nash is expected to be part of the B team and play in the "National Premier" soccer league - the third most powerful in the USA.
The basketball player, who represented the majority of his career with the "Phoenix Suns," has been a soccer fan all his life, organizing charity matches and celebrity games.
His brother Martin was also a professional soccer player and is now a coach in Canada.
