Former Bundesliga footballer won a substantial amount of money in the lottery

Former "Bochum" footballer Tommy Bechmann can boast of taming fortune.

Last winter, the athlete who ended his professional career decided to participate in the lottery and won a round sum of money.

It is said that approximately 5 million kroner (585 thousand pounds sterling) were added to his bank account.

"I checked the mail and saw that the sender's address was the same as when I won 50 kroner. I called the office and they assured me that I am indeed the lottery winner," Bechmann rejoiced, having learned about it during his vacation in Spain.

The 35-year-old man attributes his success to his ritual - in the lottery he always used the birth dates of his children.
