Former "Manchester United" club and South Korea national team midfielder Park Ji-Sung has officially announced that he is ending his football career.

The 33-year-old's reason for retiring is a persistent knee injury. This season, the Asian player suffered both physically and psychologically at the PSV club in the Netherlands, as he had been considering finishing his career since February.

Ji-Sung belonged to the London "Queens Park Rangers" club, but this season he played in the Netherlands, where he scored two goals in 27 games.

"I have been considering retiring from football since February. I have decided that due to the knee injury, I will not be able to play fully in the next season.

I have no regrets about my career. I think about what my career would have been like if I hadn't been injured," said one of South Korea's greatest football players of all time.

Throughout his career, Park Ji-Sung has played for four teams, but he is best known for his time at "Man Utd".

During his career, the midfielder took to the field 534 times and scored 71 goals.
