Former "Osasuna" director admitted to bribing other "La Liga" clubs

Statements from former Pamplona "Osasuna" club director - unbelievable. Angel Vizcay admitted that the club bribed other "La Liga" teams during the seasons 2012-13 and 2013-14.

A. Vizcay testified in court on Tuesday that in 2013 they paid a sum of 400 thousand euros to Madrid's "Getafe" club to lose a match. The following year, for the same reason, a sum of 250 thousand euros was given to representatives of Seville's "Real Betis".

It is added that later a further 400 thousand euros were paid to "Real Betis" for winning against "Real Valladolid".

A. Vizcay also revealed that in the case of "Real Betis", the amounts were paid to three players - Xavi Torres, Jordi Figueras, and Antonio Amaya.

In court, at the initiative of A. Vizcay, other payments were also mentioned: 150 thousand euros to "Real Valladolid" for a victory against La Coruna's "Deportivo", the same amount to "Real Betis" for a victory against Vigo's "Celta", and 250 thousand to "Espanyol" for a draw against "Osasuna".

Former Pamplona club president Miguel Archancho in court only admitted to the 400 thousand euros transfer to "Real Betis" in 2014.

"Osasuna" returned to "La Liga" in the summer, after triumphing in the "Segunda" competition last season.
