Former Real Madrid defender Freddy Rincon caught the attention of law enforcement officials. The Colombian is suspected of being involved in drug-related criminal activity in Panama. The international criminal police organization has charged the 48-year-old man with two counts: money laundering and drug-related criminal activity. The former Colombian football star denies the accusations and claims that Panamanian officials have no evidence. "They have no evidence. For the same reason, Brazilian law enforcement also dropped the case against me," said the former footballer. F. Rincon wore the Real Madrid jersey in the 1995-1996 season. He has also played for clubs like America de Cali, Napoli, Palmeiras, Corinthians, Santos, and Cruzeiro. With Corinthians in 2000, the forward won the Club World Cup. He represented the Colombian national team 84 times and scored 17 goals. Rincon played in three World Cups with the national team - in 1990, 1994, and 1998.
