Former teammate of E.B.Haalando - about the incredible transformation of the Norwegian © JumpStory

Former Erling Braut Haaland's teammate at the Molde team, Ruben Gabrielsen, recalled the beginning of the wonderkid's career. According to the defender, at one point the striker was small and couldn't score goals, but one day everything changed. "I have played with him in the Norwegian team and once he couldn't even score a goal during the whole week of training before the match. We laughed at him. When I heard that Erling made it to the starting eleven, I thought: "Wow, how are we going to play with this guy now?" And after 50 minutes, he already had four goals to his name. After that incident, everything started rapidly rising. I think he learned the lesson that when difficult times come, you need to work even harder."

According to the defender, everything changed over a certain period of time: "When he arrived at the club, Erling was a small guy and not such a good player. I thought maybe he can play in Norway. Then Haaland got sick and injured, and we didn't see the footballer for a long time. Eventually, he came back devilishly big and like a completely different beast."
