Since 2006, Brazilian Paulinho, who wore the shirts of the now non-existent "Vilnius" club for two seasons, does not want to play for the Milan team.
The 23-year-old footballer rapidly climbed the career ladder after a period in Lithuania, representing Lodz LKS, later teams like Sao Paulo "Audax" and "Bragantino", and eventually moving to the famous "Corinthians."
Now Paulinho has attracted the attention of one of Italy's most powerful clubs, "Inter", but he does not plan to return to Europe for now.
"Corinthians" is doing everything to keep me in the team," he said. "I do not want to leave myself, and I hope everything will be clear in the near future. I want to thank the team leaders for their belief in me. I don't care about money - I just want to play football."
This year, in over 15 matches in the Brazilian championship, he scored three goals.
