Various portals report that UEFA decided to thank the field referee Jesus Gil Manzano, VAR referee Alejandro Hernandez, and two assistants - Diego Barbero Sevilla and Angel Nevado Rodriguez for their efforts.

The referees performed poorly in the matches of France and Austria.
