Thierry Henry returns to the coaching seat - the 42-year-old Frenchman will work in the MLS championship.
It has been officially announced that the Canadian-based club Montreal "Impact" has signed a two-year contract with the strategist from France. The deal also includes the possibility of extending the collaboration for another year.
Last season, T. Henry worked as the head coach, but his career at Monaco club did not last long - the former famous footballer parted ways with the French team after four months.
Speaking about his new career moves, T. Henry revealed that he is happy to have the opportunity to return to the MLS.
"It is a huge honor to return to MLS and coach the "Impact" team," said the strategist. "The league is very familiar to me, I had some great moments here. I am very happy to be able to come to Montreal, which has such a multicultural environment. I have always admired this club and now I am here."
Prior to this, T. Henry also tasted the coach's bread from the Belgian coaching staff - he worked for two years as an assistant to Roberto Martinez.
The Montreal team finished 9th in their conference last season.
