On Sunday, France, preparing for the European Championship, achieved a hard-fought victory over Iceland in front of their own fans, winning 3-2 thanks to late goals.

Coach Laurent Blanc chose an experimental lineup, which was already trailing the opponents 0-2 after the first half: Birkir Bjarnason and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson scored for Iceland.

However, at the beginning of the second half, Mathieu Debuchy softened the difference, and in the 85th minute, Franck Ribery scored the first goal for the national team after a break of more than three years, equalizing the score. In the 87th minute, Adil Rami secured the victory for the French.

In another match, Scotland, the former opponent of the Lithuanian national team, lost 1-5 to the United States. Three goals were scored by Landon Donovan.
