After the end of his career in 2017, Francesco Totti, who remained working in the management, is leaving the "Roma" club.
For the first time in 30 years, "Roma" will be independent of F. Totti, who could not bear it and revealed the whole truth about the current issues in the management at a press conference.
"Starting to work in the management, I never had the opportunity to express myself. They never involved me in the club's activities," said the Italian football legend.
"I thought it could happen in the first year, but in the second I no longer understood what they promised to do. They knew my desire to help the team, but they never wanted me to contribute to it. On the contrary, they sought to distance me more and more from the team.
"Today is the day I feared the most," continued F. Totti.
Asked about President James Pallotta's involvement in the club's activities, F. Totti replied: "The Americans came here eight years ago and did everything to alienate us, true Romans, from the club.
Pallotta runs the club from Boston, as he has not been in Rome for over a year. When the boss is not around, everyone starts doing what they want," the Italian concluded.
F. Totti also added that he returned to the club only after the ownership changed, which does not seem realistic in the near future.
