"Manchester United" newcomer Fred says that the team reacted sensitively to the failure in Brighton and hopes to recover in the match against London's "Tottenham".
"The Red Devils" received a painful lesson from their opponents last weekend - "Brighton" defeated them with a score of 3:2. After the first defeat, doubts flooded the country's media about the possibilities of the "Man Utd" team this season.
Jose Mourinho's pupils will face a very important, yet difficult match against "Tottenham" on Monday. Fred claims that the team cannot step on the same rake again.
"We are facing a very important clash. We have been working all week and focusing on these matches. We want to go to the stadium and give our fans a victory," the Brazilian said to "Sky Sports" television.
"We know that "Tottenham" is a great team, but we must win if we want to fight for the championship title. The "Premier" League is tough and many teams here want to win.
"Brighton" was better than us. They managed to score quick goals, which unfortunately we couldn't do. Later we improved our game a bit, but it wasn't enough for a win or a draw.
"In the next match, we will go with the goal that we need to win and stay in the fight for the championship title," Fred added.
