"Manchester United" defender from Brazil Fred believes that the criticism the whole team is currently receiving is justified.
"The Red Devils" in England are showing their worst results since 1989. After eight rounds, "Man Utd" has only collected nine points and ranks 12th.
Fred, who has recently returned to the starting lineup, communicated with his country's media, stating that club legends like Gary Neville and Roy Keane have every right to express their dissatisfaction.
"They have their privileges. We are talking about players who have won a lot with this club," - the Brazilian said. - "We just have to 'shut our mouths' and work on the pitch".
"Sometimes we receive criticism that is meaningless, but there are also cases where we can learn from it.
"I read what people write about my game. I always understand that I can do better," - added the defender, who cost "Man Utd" around 60 million euros.
