French youth triumphed in the European Under-19 Championship

On Sunday, the European youth under 19 football championship held in Germany for two weeks came to an end. The winners were the young footballers from France.

Although the French team experienced a setback in their first match against their peers from England, they later secured three consecutive victories and reached the tournament final. In the final, the Italian youth tried to challenge the French team, but they couldn't match their opponents, losing 0-4.

By winning the championship title, the French celebrated their third trophy in their country's history. In terms of titles, they are only surpassed by the Spaniards, who have won 7 out of 15 European youth under 19 football championships.

The most productive player of the championship was the forward Jean-Kevin Augustin from Paris Saint-Germain, who scored 6 goals. Just one goal behind him was the 17-year-old representative from Monaco, Kylian Mbappe. By the way, Augustin, who scored 6 goals, equaled the record for this tournament.
