The famous Frenchman Franck Ribery shared one of the saddest moments of his career.
The veteran claims that in 2013 he was supposed to win the "Golden Ball", but was "robbed".
"It was incomprehensible. During the season, I won all possible trophies and couldn't achieve more. The prize was stolen from me," said F. Ribery, who then not only lost to the winner Cristiano Ronaldo, but also to Lionel Messi in second place.
"I did not receive enough support from my country. I saw with my own eyes when the French said that Cristiano must win. Did the Portuguese want it to be Ribery or Messi? Of course not."
The 34-year-old Frenchman's contract with Bayern will expire after this season.
