One of the leaders of Bayern Munich, Franck Ribery, revealed that this summer he was particularly interested in the services of the London club Chelsea.
"We often talk (with the 'Blues' coach Jose Mourinho). The Portuguese wanted me to join his team," said the Frenchman.
"We get along well and respect each other, but I want to beat him in the UEFA Super Cup match," Ribery said.
The defender praised the current Bayern coach Pep Guardiola, who replaced Jupp Heynckes after ending his career.
"He constantly talks to the players and shares positive emotions, so nothing else is needed. A few words of praise give me confidence in my abilities and then I demonstrate all my skills on the field," said the 30-year-old player.
