The Brazilian national team had a tough match against Australia, which they won with a score of 1-2. The Colombian team also secured a victory by defeating the Slovenians by a narrow margin.
A lot of attention was drawn to the match between Portugal and Argentina, which took place at "Old Trafford" stadium. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi were substituted after the first half, and Portugal's Raphael Guerreiro scored the winning goal in the 90th minute.
The reigning world champions, the Germans, also achieved a narrow victory after Toni Kroos's only goal secured a win against the 2010 world champions, Spain.
In other matches, victories were celebrated by Italy, France, England, Ireland, and Russia.
