The upcoming World Cup will be watered with human blood. As The Guardian wrote, the 2022 football championship in Qatar has already claimed the lives of 6500 immigrants. People were dying while building stadiums, airports, hotels, and other facilities, as well as suffering from poor living conditions. It is claimed that since 2010, when Qatar scandalously won the right to host the world championships, 2711 Indians, 1641 Nepalis, 1018 Bangladeshis, 824 Pakistanis, and 557 Sri Lankans have died here. This means that approximately 12 people were dying every week. The truth is that this number is not final and there could have been many more victims - the media relies on statistics provided by the aforementioned countries and also workers arriving from countries like the Philippines or Kenya. Also not included are immigrants who died in the last months of 2020. In total, Qatar had invited over 2 million foreigners, and official statistics claim that 69-80% of all deaths are "natural".
