Paris Saint-Germain completed an unexpected deal at the last minute of the transfer window - they acquired 29-year-old forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting from Stoke City. On the official website, it is stated that a two-year contract was signed with the Cameroonian. PSG got the experienced player for a bargain - the contract with the "Potters" was terminated by mutual agreement. Choupo-Moting was wanted by Thomas Tuchel - the German coach hopes to see more competition in the attacking positions and the Cameroonian should become an important rotational player. Choupo-Moting spent the season at Stoke City - the footballer, born in Germany in his debut season, played 32 matches and scored five goals. In the past, he has also played for teams like "Schalke", "Mainz", and "Hamburger".
