The English "Premier" League has confirmed that the VAR (Video Assistant Referee) system will be used in the next season's matches.
Clubs have agreed to this initiative, which will be implemented in the 2019-20 season. Last April, a joint decision was made to abandon the implementation of this technology, but the successful World Cup changed the perspective of English clubs.
The VAR system has already been implemented in almost all prestigious European football championships - in Spain, Italy, and Germany.
In England, the VAR system is not a new thing - trials have been going on for a while in FA and the English League Cup.
This season, the "Premier" League has already seen several controversial referee decisions. The most recent incident was during the Southampton match, after which Charlie Austin spoke out about the necessary assistance for referees.
