Spanish goalkeeper Ivan De la Pena confirmed that this summer he will hang up his boots.
Barcelona's "Espanyol" goalkeeper has been plagued by injuries lately and has only played five matches in the Spanish championship over the past two seasons.
"Of course, I wanted to play more, but unfortunately, I couldn't do it because of injuries," De la Pena said. "I want to thank everyone for their support. My mind wants me to play, but my body says: enough."
During his career, De la Pena represented clubs such as "Barcelona", Roma's "Lazio", and "Marseille".
