The next 45 minutes were almost identical - in the 46th minute, the same F. Torres once again put "Rojiblancos" ahead, embedding Pepe in the penalty area and beating Keylor Navas in the goal. In the 54th minute, the score became even again when Cristiano Ronaldo scored after a pass from Gareth Bale. However, "Atletico" started to show better play and when the referee's final whistle was blown, the result on the scoreboard showed 2-2. It turned out that with an aggregate score of 4-2, Diego Simeone's pupils made it to the quarter-finals, where they will face the "Barcelona" footballers in the next stage.
