On Tuesday evening the final of the „Championship“ playoffs took place, after which the last team was revealed, which will play in the „Premier“ league next season. A well-known name is returning to the highest English football division - the London „Fulham“ club, which defeated „Brentford“ players in the final after extra time with a score of 2:1. The main time of the match ended without goals, so the teams had to play extra time, where the advantage was on the side of the „Fulham“ team, which took the lead in the 105th minute with a very distant penalty kick from Joe Bryan. The same Englishman found himself in the attack again in the 117th minute and doubled „Fulham“'s advantage. A consolation goal for the „Brentford“ team was scored by Henrik Dalsgaard during the referee's added time. „Fulham“ is returning to the „Premier“ league after a one-year break.
