At the London club "Fulham", long-awaited changes took place - the head coach Slaviša Jokanović, who has not managed to lead the team to victories, was dismissed from his position.
The 50-year-old football specialist has been leading the London team since 2015. After a fairly long break, he managed to bring "Fulham" back to the English Premier League, but the return so far has not been the most beautiful.
"Fulham" is currently in last place after 12 rounds. The team has only managed to achieve one victory and play two draws so far.
After parting ways with the strategist from Serbia, the well-known figure in the football community Claudio Ranieri was called in to replace him. The 67-year-old Italian has not been working at any club recently.
After his historic triumph in the Premier League with Leicester, C. Ranieri briefly worked with the "Nantes" team, but due to disagreements with the club's management, he decided to leave at the beginning of the season.
For C. Ranieri, this will be his third club in England - besides "Leicester", he has also coached London's "Chelsea".
Shahid Khan today announced that he has appointed Claudio Ranieri as Manager of Fulham Football Club, replacing Slaviša Jokanović.
