After the UEFA decision – the Kosovo football federation's anger.
This week, the European organization made a decision regarding the unfinished Nations League C2 match in Romania – awarded the home team a 3:0 victory, but due to inappropriate fan behavior, fined the Romanians 130,000 euros and instructed them to play one match without spectators.
However, this decision does not satisfy Kosovo, even though the awarded victory in the cabinet still would not have allowed them to take the first place in the group.
As reported by "The Guardian,” offended representatives of the Balkan state intend to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The coach of the Kosovo national team, Bajram Shala, continues to demand a special sanction against the opponents: "I believe that UEFA should evaluate this incident differently. My players have suffered psychological trauma and their pride in defending the national team's colors has been diminished.
We demonstrated that there is no place for racist chants in football matches – and that’s why we did not return to the game.”
