Returning from the Baltic League tournament to the "TOPsport futsal A league," the "Kauno Žalgiris" footballers fought for their 14th consecutive victory, decisively defeating the "Kėdainiai United" team 10-0. Three players from Žalgiris scored doubles, including the league's top scorer Filipe da Silva.

Despite the noticeably improved performance of the Kėdainiai players lately, they managed to resist the multiple champions for just three minutes. Then, after a throw-in from the sideline, the Kaunas players found Justinas Zagurskas, who passed to Vladimir Derendiajev, and he sent the ball into the net.

Four minutes later, the Kėdainiai players failed to keep up with Ugnius Zenkovas and Alan Jefferson, whose duo created the second goal. Halfway through the first half, the scoreline was already 3-0. "Kėdainiai United" scored an own goal, gifting "Kauno Žalgiris" their hundredth goal of the season.

Three more goals were scored before halftime, and four after the break. F. da Silva, A. Jefferson, and Renanas Mantelli each scored two goals in the match. V. Derendiajev, J. Zagurskas, and Edas Romanovas each scored once. Gintaras Griškevičius also scored an own goal.

"Kauno Žalgiris" secured the title of regular season champions even before this round. "Kėdainiai United" is in ninth place. They are just one point away from the playoff spots, but there are only two matches left in the regular season: against "Vikingai" and "Bruklinas."
