One of Gareth Bale's representatives at Madrid, David Manassehas, has stated that the possibility of the world's most expensive footballer returning to England does not interest him.
The 25-year-old winger, in his first season representing the "royal club," scored 22 goals in 44 matches, including crucial strikes in the UEFA Champions League and the Copa del Rey finals.
However, this fall Bale is not demonstrating such excellent sporting form and rumors are constantly circulating in the press that he may leave the Spanish capital. There have even been reports of a swap between Real and Manchester United, after which Angel Di Maria would return to Madrid.
The forward's agent simply laughed off such speculations.
"It is not true that Gareth wants to return to the Premier League," Manassehas told Calciomercato.
"Everything is going great for him in Madrid and he wants to wear the Real jersey."
"Talk of a swap with United is nonsense."
Gareth Bale's contract with the UEFA Champions League winners will expire in the summer of 2019.
