Madrid's "Real" star Gareth Bale once again spoke about the England national team.
Welsh footballers faced off against Roy Hodgson's charges in the Euro B group. Bale's team, despite losing to the English in the head-to-head match, reached the quarterfinals by finishing in first place.
Prior to the aforementioned clash, the striker had stated that no England national team player would make it into the Welsh team.
"You always try to create headlines from my comments," Bale joked at first.
"This is a moral victory for us, giving us a bit of right to brag. It's always great to finish higher than the English."
Wales will face Northern Ireland in the first round of the knockout stage.
