G. Bale on confrontation with C. Ronaldo: it will not be two people playing, but two teams

Before the "EURO 2016" semi-final, the leader of the Wales national team Gareth Bale is not bothered by the fact that he will face his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Both of these footballers have spent three seasons together in the ranks of Madrid's "Real".

It is worth mentioning that Bale moved to the "royal" club, breaking Ronaldo's transfer record. For a long time, there were rumors that the Portuguese was not particularly fond of him.

"This match will not revolve around two players - everyone knows that. It will be two nations playing, 11 men against 11 men," Bale said.

"It will be very different match. They are in the semi-finals because they deserve it, but we will enjoy the game as always."

"(Regarding Ronaldo) he is a fantastic player and everyone knows what he is capable of, but now we are talking about what we can do as a team."

"The teams we played against had very strong individual players, but the most important thing is how we play as a team, and by doing that we can neutralize most of the dangers."

"The stars of our team are all of us. We work together as one, we run for each other, we pass each other the ball, we act like brothers and enjoy without any fear. So far, it works."

The clash between Wales and Portugal will take place on Wednesday at 22:00 Lithuania time.
