The Welsh team, competing in Group A at EURO 2020, secured their first victory today with a score of 2:0 against Turkey. Despite missing several opportunities to score, but providing an assist, Wales team captain Gareth Bale said after the match: "We worked hard for this victory and gave our all on the field - as we always do. This win was vital for us. I couldn't convert the penalty kick, but I think I showed good character, which helped the team move forward. The second goal was the cherry on top."
