One of the leaders of Madrid's "Real" Gareth Bale returned to the field yesterday after an injury and was not only happy with his goal, but also with the result achieved by the team.
The Welsh national team member trained with the team this week and appeared on the field in the 65th minute against Vigo's "Celta". Led by Cristiano Ronaldo, the "white" team defeated their opponents 7-1 and secured an easy three points.
G. Bale has not played since January 17th, so he did not hide his joy after the awaited return: "It's good to come back with a goal and, most importantly, a victory. I missed four days of training and I feel good. I have to continue this and keep improving."
"It's a great result, but the most important thing is that we earned three points. During the break, we talked about playing faster and maintaining a higher tempo," added the winger.
It was in the second half that "Real" was much sharper - scoring six goals. On Tuesday, "Real" faces a decisive battle in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals against "Roma".
