"Juventus" goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon expects a tough season in the Italian championship, as this year the fight for the title is promised not only by "Roma", but also by "Milan" and "Napoli" clubs.
In the 2014-15 season, the "bianconeri" did not face much resistance in Serie A and won the fourth Scudetto in a row, finishing second with a 17-point lead.
However, Buffon expects a tough fight, as these teams received significant reinforcements over the summer.
"Winning is absolutely impossible, even with the strongest team. In Serie A, there are teams that have strengthened and are starting a completely new era with enthusiasm," the goalkeeper told Tuttosport.
"We respect the teams that will compete with us for the title."
"Looking at the transfer window, 'Roma' undoubtedly strengthened the most this summer."
"Looking at the whole transformation and the new project under Sinisa Mihajlovic's guidance, I think 'Milan' will also have a great season, especially because they will not have European matches."
"Also, if 'Napoli' players and fans are ready to learn from Maurizio Sarri, they can also be a wonderful surprise."
"Juventus" will start their season on Saturday against "Udinese".
