Having left Paris Saint-Germain after one season, Gianluigi Buffon is not yet thinking about the end of his career.
The 41-year-old Italian actively seeks a club where he could ultimately finish his illustrious career. One of such clubs is Porto.
After two years, Iker Casillas was supposed to end his career at Porto, but his heart problems prevent him from returning to professional sports. For this reason, Porto is negotiating with G. Buffon for him to join the club.
"We are aware of the interest, as one of the Porto representatives has already contacted us," confirmed Buffon's agent, Silvano Martina.
"Buffon wants to play for another year, and Porto is a club that he likes. However, he has four children, and moving with the whole family to a new home is not that easy.
It is true that he previously played with Sergio Conceicao (the current Porto coach) and he likes the idea of working with him. Porto is a huge club with deep traditions in Europe.
Buffon will decide on his future in the next ten days," added the agent.
